"Room 1028 Located about a mile from downtown; a nice walk or scooter to get there. Room was clean and quiet although the edges of the wallpaper are starting to come up (really the only complaint about the room at all). The bed was really comfortable and I slept incredibly well. Breakfast was good, the coffee isn’t great, but it works We were there at the end of March and the pool was open, although not heated and the pool deck is not very inviting. I’m hoping they do something a little nicer...

"The location on the river is terrific and provides easy access to trails along the river and to downtown Austin. The staff is well trained , polite and helpful. Prices of rooms, food and parking seem high in relation to other first rate hotels in Austin."

"Friendly staff, rooms very clean. Some of the physical plant a little bit worn or run-down (couch cushions, staircases, parking garage). Breakfast is nice and pretty varied, and staff kept everything supplied and neat. Free afternoon reception a nice plus - drinks are small but can't complain about a free drink. Very convenient to downtown and S. Congress (and the bat bridge) and Barton Springs area."
