From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we had a fabulous stay at the Double Tree. We even extended our stay by one extra day. Haven’t stayed at a Double Tree in years, and was pleasantly surprised. Will be making them my choice of hotels in the future.

Very nice hotel and close to the capital building in downtown Austin. Easy walk to the Texas Book Festival. The only negative thing is there is no onsite parking available. You'll either have to use the hotel valet or self park in a nearby parking garage.

I had a wonderful stay! From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making me feel right at home. The room was spotless, beautifully designed, and offered all the comforts I could ask for. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The amenities were top-notch, and the on-site dining was fantastic. The location was also perfect, conveniently close to the State Capital.
