"A stunning place! The bar/restaurant and pool area are truly breathtaking and have been done to a very high standard. The staff were all fantastic and the food was generally good. There is lots to explore locally including the free waterfalls you can access from the hotel, a bigger waterfall further down the hill which id definitely recommend and Marino Ballena National park. "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The location could not have been better, easy to get to our favorite beaches, restaurants and groceries. Owners were very responsive and super helpful with booking tours extra. Very well appointed! The pool was a cocktail pool which we weren’t expecting so we didn’t really use much and we didn’t have much hot water. "I loved the serenity of the cloud forest and views. I really wanted a way to open a screened window for a cool, natural breeze and to listen to bird song, while still being able to lock the doors. It was quieter than expected given the proximity of the road (very few cars travel it), but also a little less private that I desired with the other guests walking by. The staff were extremely helpful and engaging - a really nice part of the experience. "

"Nice property just just minutes up the hill from Uvita. We had rented a Rave 4 and spent a few days in Santa Teresa and Arenal before going to Uvita. Got a message from Andrea saying to make sure our vehicle had a 4 wheel drive button or it wouldn't make it up the hill. Decided to change vehicles to a Toyata Land Cruiser Prado. Good thing we did.
