"The hotel is a little way from the city centre but is oh so worth it. The hotel is a former rum warehouse and it was great to see so many of the original features had been preserved. Room was very large and well furnished. Bar area had a good atmosphere, the restaurant menu had a good selection, I had the lamb pasta which was excellent. Highly recommend paying to use the spa, not too busy, very relaxing. "

"Very helpful and welcoming staff. I forgot to pack a toothbrush and a staff member kindly brought one to my room (thank you!). The only slight downside was hot items for breakfast could have been warmer. Everything was beautifully cooked and presented, but breakfast starts at 7.00am on a Saturday and at 7.05 bacon, eggs etc were only luke warm. Perhaps everything is being put out ready for service earlier than it needs to be on a Saturday?"

"This is our 2nd stay at this hotel. It is local for shopping entertainment and plenty of dining options. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the rooms are a good size and linen of top quaility. It is very clean and decor is lovely. We very much enjoyed our stay and will definitely return. "
