"We really enjoyed our stay, even though it was rainy. Touring around the museum and the various train cars was super fun. The grandkids (ages 4, 6, 7, 9) were over the moon with this 'surprise' overnight stay before we headed to our cruise. The staff were terrific. The pullman car was awesome. We knew it wouldn't be a spotless, newly built hotel room, but this made it all the more exciting to be in a venue from days gone past."

Very large, comfortable with an incredible bed and a 7 foot claw foot soaking tub. Breakfast was delicious! Belgian waffles with fresh fruit, juice and coffee. "

"This is a very unique, one in a life time experience staying in a historic train carriage.We stayed at Silver Foot which located inside the museum.Check in is easy and David and Chris were extremely friendly and helpful.The carriage has almost everything a 5 star hotel has. A dining table, one double bed, two bunker beds, a shower and two toilets.There is also a fridge.The museum locked it's gate after business hours but Chris is happy to let you in and out if needed. Just a phone call...

"Jeff and Polly were the best! We were greeted with fresh baked cookies. And then the second thing I noticed was the personalized welcome sign. It’s the small details that made this stay unique. The food was great as well. You can see that someone put some love into preparing those dishes. If you’re looking for a little getaway for two, I can tell you and my girlfriend and I recommend this place!"

"We went for a short family getaway to enjoy the Strand and beach for a weekend. We had a great stay! Marsae was so helpful and easily available for a slight issue we had getting the door unlocked. The kitchen was well stocked and the sleeping arrangements were perfect for our group of 12. Only complaint is we couldn't stay longer! Even after check-out Marsae was so helpful with a couple things that got left behind.We will definitely be booking again!"

"This was a pleasant surprise. We booked at the last minute for an event in town and all other places were booked solid. We would definately come back and stay again. The owner was great, gave us a lot of places of recommendations to go and eat and do. This place certainly has a personal touch that you don't get with a hotel. Everything here was very clean. Every tenant was respectful of one another and we engaged in great conversations with the host and others that were staying. This is within driving distance of the strand and seawall.
