"They do the basic stuff really well. Don't expect a fancy room with all the trimmings but that's unrealistic at the price. it is decently equipped with the necessities built in a modern way."

The rooms were a little on the small side but we were fine with it. The location was perfect too, and everything is within walking distance. Other than to get to and from the airport, we didn’t need to take public transport at all. "

"I cannot fault this property at all. We went as a family of four. From check in to check out, everything was flawless. Our family room with a view over the castle was very clean and comfortable and so was the bathroom. We had drinks and dinner at the restaurant one evening and Martin was very attentive. We will definitely be staying here again on our next trip to Edinburgh. "

"Great stay for visit to the Playhouse. Walking distance from Waverly station, to St James Quarter and Playhouse. Best location for what we we had planned. Floor 0 takes you to Waverly station avoiding all the traffic lights and longer walk to station. Staff lovely, rooms beautiful. "
