"Alma Histórica is a wonderful little hotel in a quiet neighborhood in the old city. Each room is themed and unique. There are restaurants and shopping within walking distance, and there is limited parking on the street. The staff are wonderful and super helpful, and I can’t say enough about them. It’s near the port and the Museo del Carnaval, so if you are there during Carnaval season, you can walk to see the tablados. "

The amenities included a gym. A small, dark room with three aerobic devices does not count as a gym. The staff were helpful and nice. "
