"We recently stayed at Dream of Zanzibar and were pleasantly surprised by the experience. The rooms were comfortable and clean, offering a relaxing and well-maintained space. The all-inclusive meal plan offered a nice variety of options, from local dishes to international favorites, all of which were tasty and satisfying. The pool area was a nice spot to relax and enjoy the tropical setting. Service was friendly and attentive throughout my stay. Considering the affordable rates, I was impressed by the overall quality of the hotel, especially the food and service. All in all, Dream of Zanzibar offers great value for the price, and I would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Zanzibar."

"We had an unforgettable stay at The Residence and can’t wait to return—especially our three kids, who are already asking when we’ll be back! The hotel’s beautiful gardens were a highlight; we enjoyed walking through them every day instead of using golf carts. The staff were always friendly and eager to help, making us feel right at home. The two restaurants offered excellent food with daily themed menus and live performances, ensuring a fresh and enjoyable dining experience. The complimentary watersport activities were fantastic, with the boat house crew leading fun and informative sessions. Our beach-facing luxury villa was spacious, well-decorated, and offered great privacy, especially with its private pool although the kids also enjoyed swimming and playing with other kids in the main overflow pool. The monkeys occasionally made an appearance around the villa but kept their distance, adding a fun touch. The beach, while a bit seaweedy at low tide, was perfect after 1 pm. The tour guides were professional and made exploring the area a breeze. Overall, we had a fantastic time and look forward to returning soon!"

"We had a phenomenal stay with Passion Boutique Hotel!! We stayed with them after a trip hiking up Kilimanjaro and it fitted the bill for a total chill out and recharge. The staff, food, facilities and scenery was above and beyond what we had expected. Big shout out for Madelina who really looked after us on our stay, ensuring us we had everything we need and everything ran smoothly. She again went above and beyond and our experience was fantastic. The staff in the restaurant were all fantastic, Anthony, Hassan & Anana really looked after us as well, we didn’t want to leave! We never saw the chef but the cooking was outstanding and we are missing it now when back at home. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone who is visiting Zanzibar. "

"My stay at Kwanza was amazing, stayed here for my honeymoon and my wife really loved the resort. We stayed in one of the swim up rooms which was a nice added feature. The only thing I could fault this hotel is the drainage system in the shower and sink is a bit slow to go down the drain other than that everything is 5 star. I would definitely stay here again and the staff were all amazing and accommodating. "

"A truly wonderful hotel that stands out for its friendly family feel customer service and its variety and standard of food that has so many choices for vegetarians during the 4 course meal every night. The rooms are tastefully decorated with good aircon and mosquito nets for the bed. The pool and sunbeds are well spaced and quiet and there are paddle boards to use in the sea. The treatments at the spa are varied and delivered brilliantly for a very reasonable price! I highly recommend this adults only hotel if you’re looking for peace and tranquility with an outstanding focus on you as the guest"
