"Konokono was a beautiful resort. I really enjoyed the beauty of the bungalow beach villa we stayed in. It was my birthday and they welcomed me with a little decoration in the room which was so cute. The food was great, it definitely gave fine dining but the fixed menu for dinner was delicious. The staff were very nice and helpful. There are monkeys on site, which was cool. They also have someone you can book activities with at lobby. The beach is beautiful but close up to shore needs to be cleaned and or need to put a garbage near by so people don’t litter. The only thing i could say about this hotel is that it is a very quiet and peaceful resort. Not much amenities. So if you are looking for somewhere to just have peace and quiet then this is your place. There is no vibes here just a laid back getaway. Beatrice was very nice and the staff as well. I think it would be good for them to promote that this hotel is a tranquility hotel so that people are not caught off guard with the type of vibes they may be looking for during their stay. Nevertheless it’s a beautiful resort in Zanzibar. "

"Very friendly staff. We had the room that had the patio next to the pool. Very convenient for morning and eveving swimming. We went only once to the larger pools on the property. The Jetty and Mango bars were fun and had very good drinks. Food at the Indian restaurant was fantastic and the best meal we had on the property. Sadly we did not get a chance to try the Italian restaurant. We did not know that it needed a reservation like the Indian restaurant. The snack bar by the Mango bar had good snacks, popcorn, peanuts, hotdogs, etc. We will be going back again next year."

"It is a 5-star feeling, with a feeling of space, mindful of this is Zanzibar and not Hilton in the Western world. You feel there is a strong western management teams that ensure all the little things that you appreciate with a personal touch and connection. Small-medium size resort placed a bit away (1 hour) from tourist centers like Zanzibar city and North main beaches. Yes, the beach is not good, but there is a great one 5 min away connected with the hotel. But you get a feel of space and especially Vladislava and Adella have made the perfect setting for one of the best experiences. You get a feeling of new and clean rooms and a great little resort, amazing restaurant, fantastic pool area and special evening events. Very relaxing feeling all the way - the opposite of Zanzibar Stone Town and North coast. Good value for money compared to other hotels we have seen. You want to top-up for all-inclusive for the days you are not out of the hotel. 80$ and 50$ (non-alco) pp. Not cheap, but worth it. Yes, we strongly recommend this resort/hotel. We were here as a family of 5 in two rooms."

"Our villa was super spacious, it was cleaned regularly, and it was nice to wake up in that beautiful garden. Service was very good, Mr. Ally and the team made us feel welcome and helped us with the early check out and late check out because of our flight times."
