"The hotel was quiet with very little road noise and block out blinds in the room. Had a great meal in the Cascades on Collins bar one evening which was very enjoyable. All in all a great stay."

"In its day a great place but showing signs of wear. Room was clean and bed comfortable. Shower was over the bath and hard to get into for someone with leg problems. As well there is no lift to the first floor for an incapacitated person "

Initially turned off from reviews suggesting that it may be tired, we were surprised had how lovely the accommodation was. The restaurant was excellent for dinner. The outside of buildings looks basic but don’t let it fool you! "

"We were married here in 2015 and return regularly. It is a truely unique place, away from it all out in the beautiful Tasmanian rainforest. A place to relax, get in touch with nature, escape the hustle and bustle and recharge. The accommodation is clean and comfortable, if a little outdated. The king beds could use an upgrade ie. make them a king, not two singles joined in the middle. But the cabins are warm, light filled and surrounded by the rainforest. We stayed as a family, 2 kids under 5,...

"Really lovely front desk and housekeeping staff, friendly and helpful. Comfortable stay, one bedroom apartment in main building. Very clean room even though some aspects of the room are getting a bit worn from age but it didn’t detract from our stay. Very comfortable bed. Tip, make sure you call the hotel at time of booking to reserve a parking spot onsite. Hotel is easy walking distance from Salamanca and waterfront. Would recommend this hotel.
