"The Hotel has a long history of how Hobart was like in the late 1800s and its decor reflects that, very impressive. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, our room was excellent. Choice of dinning was good and happy hour is every day between 5 - 6, nice wines and beer. Highly recommend it."

Easy parking and access to the cataract gorge and riverside walkways were a bonus as it encouraged us to exercise everyday during our stay. "Easy walking to all shops and eating places and to the waterfront. The Cascade on Collins in the hotel is most convenient with lovely atmosphere and the happy hour is a bonus and much appreciated. "
