The most perfect setting in this gorgeous and rustic eco lodge overlooking the Lake Kivu. This lodge respects local traditions and benefits the community. They have safari tents constructed with local materials, solar panels, water harvest, composting toilets and change towels only on request. I did not want to leave, ever! I want to visit again during their monsoon season.

"Ok stay, great airport shuttle pickup. Rooms and hotel is dated, motion sensor lights in room were annoying and needed to be switched off so we could sleep. Gym was ok but very busy, breakfast was ok, staff weren’t that friendly at breakfast but the guy cleaning the rooms was super nice. Also, checkout is 11am but our key card stopped working at 9am or so. Fair price and good enough."

"Centrally located hotel with the most fabulous team of staff - nothing was too much trouble. Great food at the Coco Fizz pool bar and a really great city tour organised for us by Queen. We would have no hesitation in returning when and if we come back to Kigali"
