"We loved our stay at the El Rey Moro! The staff were so very helpful. Loved that they had a lift (not always the case with historic properties). The room was charming with Moorish details, they have a wonderful courtyard for breakfast complete with bubbling fountain. Breakfast was a delicious buffet. They had easy to access outlets for device charging. Even a complementary welcome drink in their restaurant. A great stay!"

"This hotel is very elegant, decorated with musical instruments in a marvellous way. Because of 3 days of rain, a leak developed just outside our room. They put out a rug and bucket could not fix it until it stops raining. The breakfast was great! There is no parking. If you drive, you have to park at a garage 5 minutes away and walk with your luggage. The garage was full when we got there so we had to wait in queue until enough people left. Took about 45 minutes. "Brilliant location in the Santa Cruz quarter and lots of bars and restaurants nearby - as well as the major tourist attractions. Rating is slightly lower as there was no hot water for the first night of our stay - which wasn't their fault - but also a slight smell in the room we had. We think it may have come from the bathroom, but unsure. The room itself was lovely and modern and comfy and the staff at reception were excellent.
