Depicted here is the Ponte Vecchio, called Ponte Gobbo (Hunchback Bridge), also known as the Devil's Bridge. It's an ancient stone bridge of Roman origin, which crosses the river Trebbia in eleven irregular arches.

"Decent budget hotel very close to train station and only a short walking distance from the city centre. The room was spacious and I slept well thanks to it being quiet. The hotel needs refurbishing and the bed made creaking noises whenever I moved and wasn't particularly comfortable. The receptionist Angelique was friendly and helpful, and I was able to store my luggage the following day."
