"Nice hotel in a good location in Mangga Dua. The hotel is looking a little dated but actually there was renovation work going on. The price was good and included an excellent buffet breakfast. The staff were all very helpful and incredibly friendly! "

"Hotel is dated but clean and staff are friendly and approachable. Unfortunately there are lots of mosquitoes especially at the lobby area and guest receptions area. These are in the hotel and not outside. Best to eliminate this at its their first impressions when we come in and where guests sit around at the lounge cafe enjoying pastries and coffee. Can't stay long with all the mosquitoes. "

"Had a pleasant stay at Holiday Inn Express Jakarta Simatupang for a night. The hotel offers great value for the price, making it a solid choice for a short stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with all the essentials. One of the highlights of this property was the nice new pool (Which you rarely find in other Holiday Inn Express), . "Very nice , breakfast . The price to get your clothes laundered was outrageous. The best breakfast buffet for $5 usd and to get a couple pairs of underwear/ undershirts and socks was going to cost $20 usd !!!! Wow I could get my undies dry cleaned for less than that in the states!! But overall good location and food was wonderful. Room was nice but not fantastic. "

"Staff not friendly at all. we asked the staff to call the the Blue bird taxi to Bandara but he call rental car instead. When we query why he did call rental car, he ask us to call bluebird by our selves. If we can call ourself then we did not ask him to call. The staff also not welcoming. "Staff are friendly, helpful and nice. Single room is very small, no window. Hot water doesnt run, but who needs one in Jakarta? AC works very well, the single bed is comfortable, clean and enough firmness. Breakfast is good. Elevator is slow but works. Wifi at the third floor is on and off, weak signal.
