"Historic beautiful property. The pictures make the place seem bigger than it is. We had a suite and it was small. The picture when booking does not come close to resembling the room. They are working on the property so light fixtures on the second floor were hanging. They had a wedding that weekend which made parking a nightmare. I wish someone would have informed us of the wedding rehearsal and wedding that occupied the entire place. I felt like I was intruding on their special day because it...

I have stayed at other hotels downtown in several cities and normally extremely small rooms and high prices and outdated amenities. This hotel was perfect blend of our work charm and modem day peeks blended into one. Oversized room in our corner suite and nice size jetted tub in a 1950s style marbled tile finished around the double vanity and tub it self. Very comfortable bed and bedding . "They didnt want to honor our expedia price since they changed ownership. Made us wait till 3 for check in even though room then readyThen took 20 additional minutes to gain approval for rate and only granted when I said I wanted to cancel. No towels in our room. Clean but needs updated. "

" The hosts were wonderful, so considerate. Fresh eggs, butter, milk, cereal, muffins & fresh fruit were awaiting us. Being able to wander this property was a dream! The hiking trails are challenging but so worth the gorgeous autumn views. Paddle boarding on the lake was fun. They left enough firewood for us to have the fire in the log cabin going for both our nights. This place gives private camp vibes with the three spread out properties. AMAZING!! Can’t wait to go back. "
