"Lovely staff. Rooms were basic but clean (could use some conditioner and washcloths). Lobby was nice and the pool was a highlight. Perhaps as a wellness resort more bottled or refillable water options could be provided?"

"Zuerst das Gute: der Aufenthalt war wunderbar. Sehr nette Gastgeber, wunderschönes Haus in grandioser Umgebung, Ausblick, Pool und Terrasse top. Küche und die anderen Zimmer sind sehr gut ausgestattet, aller Komfort vorhanden. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Zwei Dinge sind verbesserungswürdig: die Couch hat völlig ausgedient, durchgesessen bis auf das Gestell, die Kissen müsste man immer wieder aufschütteln, was wir uns nicht getraut haben, da man sonst erstickt vor lauter Staub. "The gite was lovely and a lot bigger than we expected, but there were only 4 of us who visited. The gite had everything we needed, and the view was lovely - across the road was a vineyard, but the gite is on a road where, although cars are few and far between, they do drive far too fast. We had a lovely few days at the beginning of our holiday but on the fourth day a taxi drove into us at speed (not near the gite, on the way to Jonzac) and the hire car we were in was flipped over and ended up...
