"We heard great reviews for this hotel from friends in Manado, so we booked a room for our stay. I’m giving five stars because I believe my friends. However, a volcano meant that our flight turned around 30 minutes before we were supposed to land in Manado. We couldn’t use our reservation. I wrote to Expedia and the hotel to cancel the reservation. Expedia said they couldn’t refund the money because they needed to first receive the consent of the hotel and the hotel didn’t respond the hotel...

"This is an older hotel. The rooms were clean and large. The hallway carpet is old and a little musty but overall a nice place at a good price. "

"Breakfast was very local and not up to international standard and hand towels were not provided in the toilet and boring music was repeatedly played at breakfast also water in the shower was not hot enough and the hotel just said too many people could not make it hotter"

"We booked a room for 4 adults and were shown to a room with 2 single beds. We had to show booking confirmation email (using hot spot from staff member’s phone as the free wifi was non-existent) before we were then offered an uncleaned room with a double and single bed, as well as a single sofa bed. Host was very reluctant to give us extra linen for the sofa bed. "
