"For £200 a night we expected everything to work. For example, there was a beautiful marble setting but the heating was not on and there was no clear way of controlling the temperature in the room which was in a cold downstairs location. On a previous visit in a cheaper room we had an iron provided , a functioning coffee machine and milk and a larger table. This was a warm cosy room.The coffee machine this time did not work. "The Gite was tranquil …. Beautifully decorated, the simplicity of this gave a calm and peaceful stay …. The host Sabine was lovely and was at hand for any issue although I couldn’t imagine any issues arising Would recommend highly 😁"

"Very off after hours check in process. The place was really dark and locked up. Had to use our cell phone lights just to see a small sign on the door to call a number to get jn, then retrieve our room keys from a lock box. After that, was okay. Plenty of parking, but dark area with very little lighting after hours."

"The staff were very rude, "hotel" was a glorified hostel. Not clean, didn't feel safe due to people hanging around outside door until early hours of the morning. Will definitely not be back and would not recommend anyone stays there."

"This location was one of the rare surprising discoveries of my trip. Choosing the breakfast was wise as is most succulent. But what caught my heart, was the already prepared meals offered which are from a local producer. Authentic receipe, very tasteful, prevented me to go outside ! The staff shows they are proud to work there. If there is one thing to enhace, would be the greeting staff learn to be more smiley with their customers... :-) Warmly recommended"

"Wonderfully quaint B&B in and old mill. Our room was right up in the roof space. Might not be suitabe for some as the stairs are very steep and windy, and our room had two low beams at face height, but it certainly had character and charm."
