"The staff bent over backwards to accommodate our every need. The food was excellent and when the hotel restaurant wasn't open, a hotel-owned restaurant next door had excellent food. The difficult thing about getting a 4 star rating in Nakuru, Kenya, is that the area is subject to frequent power outages and the internet service simply isn't the best. I wish this property didn't have to deal with these inconveniences because everything else was superb. "

"I did not stay at Jarika bexause when i got there the management told me they had never heard of hotels.com and did not receive any booking or money. I was asked to pay again if i wanted to stay. So i left i booked abother hotel, and after i have settles in this other hotel, i received a mesaage from Jarika saying it was under renovation and cannot accommodate guests and would put me up in a Waffle Suite. I believe this was all a scam though dont know exactly what scam it is. Im trying to get...

"Noise-wise,quiet.Rooms,doors not securable 100%;worn out mortise door mechanisms;latches missing or not aligning;curtains and nets not hanging properly on rails;too small sink;missing wall-to-sink sealant. Grounds,restaurant,good.Very friendly staff and service. Compared to similar priced hotel,not worth the price."
