"It is quite an good option for business travel and for visiting areas located on south lake road. Still with Taxi or car Naivasha town is reachable in relatively short time. The are is quiet at night. Nice big rooms, very polite and helpful staff. "Good place to stay at for a layover. Cheap, spacious rooms, and they provide breakfast. Place is hard to find and it would help if they had a sign thay said "El Sueno Homestay" outside the Main Gate instead of our driver wondering if this is the place, calling the lady, then her coming outside. "I booked one night, 1 double room, 1 single room and paid through Expedia for Lake Naivasha Resort. When I arrived they said I had booked 2 single rooms and no meals so they charged me for what they said was the difference. When I saw the receipt I questioned it and said I need a refund! I had booked correctly and I had my paid receipt from Expedia. In the end I would have only owed for our meals. The difference between what they charged me and the cost of the meals should be refunded to me!...

"Excellent hotel with very nice glamping and food / staff was very responsive and nice. Food for breakfast and lunch was excellent / we unfortunately missed dinner. On lake Naivasha with boat tour facilities. Hells Gate Park is very close. Excellent access to all facilities. Special thanks to Geoffrey the Front Desk Manager who was very accommodating and a pleasure to work with. We would love to have extended our visits will be back again."

"Upon arrival, room was prepped with one towel although the reservation was for two individuals. The towel was dirty and stained. Lighting was pretty rough, and did not make the room comfortable to relax in. Hotel porter was asked to call us a cab, for two people. "Overall we had a pleasant stay. When we arrived they could not find our reservation, this does not surprise me because it was hard booking a room online or getting someone to respond to my emails. "The hotel is very convenient just off the main Nakuru - Mombasa highway. The bedroom was good and clean, but the bathroom was not working well, had standing water on the floor and not so clean. The staff were helpful, but for some reason my online booking was not received and so it was lucky they had space and I had to get cash to pay. The hotel could be heading in the right direction, but needs more attention to the detail they have in the bedroom to other aspects of the facilities"

"What a great place! A lot of historic charm and wildlife on the grounds - the staff were amazingly kind and gracious. Reception team was warm and welcoming. Excellent hot showers. In passing conversation, my husband mentioned that the Lake Naivasha Country club was where he proposed to me 25 years ago. The operations manager Danep somehow noted this and a few hours later at dinner arranged to have a beautiful cake made that said "marry me again". It was such a thoughtful touch! We will definitely be back!"
