"We stayed here for one night as we were stopping in Edinburgh on our way up to the highlands. The room was excellent and to a very high standard. Breakfast was fantastic and freshly made at a time of our choice, which was a unique but pleasant touch. Thank you for a great start to our holiday. "The Garden Cottage is such a fantastic spot. My family was traveling to Scotland for a wedding and needed a nearby accommodation with minimal stairs for the 92 yr old grandmother. The Garden Cottage seemed to be a good choice until we walked in the door and WOW, it exceeded all expectations. Not only were there few stairs and 3 bedrooms, the cottage included a lovely kitchen with a large table, a sitting room, a tv room and a fantastic garden with opportunities to spot a big rabbit or two. ...

"The home and grounds are absolutely beautiful. The home was very clean and well appointed, having everything we needed. Sally, the owner/host is the kindest person who really looked after us. She provided us with contacts for drivers, tour guides, and even a chef. She even made dining reservations for us. I had asked for a recommendation for bakery where I could order a special occasion cake. She gave a couple options, and then picked up my order for me. Her attention to detail is superb and she...
