"The home and grounds are absolutely beautiful. The home was very clean and well appointed, having everything we needed. Sally, the owner/host is the kindest person who really looked after us. She provided us with contacts for drivers, tour guides, and even a chef. She even made dining reservations for us. "We had a lovely stay over Christmas. We opted for the basic room without a window and although the room was quite small there was plenty of room for our needs. The hotel has a buffet continental breakfast with lots of great fresh pasties, we absolutely loved their homemade yogurt with honey and granola. The hotel is very walkable to all the sights and the staff were warm and welcoming. We will definitely stay there again. "

"The drive up to the hotel was stunning , We loved the old style of the hotel absolutely beautiful. Our room 169 was very spacious and welcoming. Food was top notch what we had although more choice chicken,pasta ect.Breakfast was brilliant plenty to choose from. Staff very welcoming and always on hand to help.Looking forward to returning . "

"Amazing location, wonderful view! The balcony was absolutely incredible. The staff is very accommodating and friendly, you will have a great time here! Make sure you don’t mistake the hotel with “Apex” or “Grassroots” down the street. This hotel has a large sign with the full name “Apex Grassroots”. "
