"This hotel is not bad for a visit in the very cold weather - when stepping out for a meal is not a great option. The lounge and the Velvet Glove restaurants onsite are both quite nice, and the hotel is connected with underground hallways to some other resources too. The room however is a bit out dated - indeed carpet, furniture, and details like curtains and lampshades. Overall not bad, but with some updates to the guest rooms it would be even better. "

"Clean and updated. Conveniently located. Awesome amenities and breakfast. Loved that there was a huge selection of chips and snacks available to purchase in the lobby. If it had a waterslide this would be the top hotel in Winnipeg :) it was such a wonderful place to stay. "

"We stayed there for a Jets game. Came from the airport by cab and then the hotel is very convenient to get to the Canada Life Center. We had room service for breakfast. Food was incredible and it was very convenient to have brought up to the room. Staff was very nice as well as helpful when we had questions."
