"Grand Hotel Excelsior is beautiful, elegant hotel not far (5 min walk) from Valletta's City Gate entrance by the Triton Fountain. The location by the water of the bay offers amazing views by day or night. The extra attention by all of the staff was very appreciated as it wasn't overpowering but discreet and gracious. Lovely wellness facilities which have recently been renovated.
