"Amazing Hotel Sapa is a very comfortable, spacious hotel close to the center of Sapa town, with spectacular views overlooking the terraced rice fields and surrounding mountains. Breakfast was very good. The only downside for us -- though this may be true for all of the hotels in town -- is that the narrow streets of Sapa have become choked with traffic, which made it occasionally difficult to arrange pickup at the hotel entrance."

"For our first visit to Sapa, we are so happy we stayed at the Bamboo Hotel! It is conveniently located for both trekking and the amenities of Sapa. The rooms were clean, the food was great and the onsite spa was a delight. By far, the best part though was the staff. "Was it really a homestay if they have european toilets and shower plus no interaction between homeowner and guest? Also about 20 beds available for a 'homestay' and guests are served pancakes for breakfast - not the true vietnamese breakfast the family was enjoying 10 metres from us.Calling it a back to basic bed and breakfast or guesthouse would be much more accurate.The whole homestay concept is totally overrated and should be avoided.
