"What an amazing stay at BSL. Wonderful beach front property with small villas. Blown away by the delicious food and attentive staff. Everyone was super nice and an extra shoutout to Joel the manager and Fred the receptionist. "The Lawford was a lovely place to stay in Malindi. The 3 bedroom villa and private pool were amazing. Large upstairs and downstairs lounge areas. Lots of space for everyone. There was a full kitchen with all the pots, pans, utensils etc. Service was great. Staff were delightful. Had fun with pool and table tennis. We would live there, if we could! Our neighbors were a bit loud but management tried to help with the situation. The beach is close but the water was brown and not “inviting.” There is a river just north that drains into the ocean right above the property. We would definitely visit again!"

"Stayed for 6 nights with kids and was upgraded. The room was super clean, staff service was great. While the food was good options are limited. I didnt like the snack pool as it seems to require better care (was not clear/clean enough). But we really enjoyed our stay."

"The staff get 12 out 10. Choice of different items in buffet are amazing. This is a 4* and they had king prawns on dinner menu on 21st december with the lower rates before Christmas. We are writing this review from a 5* hotel in malindi owned by a large italian chain on christmas eve and there is no dreams of having prawns on menu. Hands down an amazing experience. Only downside is the general cleanliness. The loos near the pool stink really bad "
