"Employee working at the restaurant where they serve breakfast, the one in charge admission to go in (older male) was extremely off putting by the way he looked at me and my friends. The intense eye contact and disgust given to us was definitely felt, making our breakfast unpleasant and unwelcoming despite paying for admission. Out of my entire stay in Japan, this was definitely my worst interaction in the entire trip that stuck out to me "

Tosei Hotel Cocone Ueno Okachimachi was at a very good location, close to the JR line which made travel with 3 younger children just that bit more easy. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and accommodating to our needs. The only drawback was the washing/drying machines that always seemed to be busy, but you can check on their status through the website. The room we stayed in was clean and comfortable. We will stay again. "

"I liked that it was only a short walk away from the train station. The room was small but functional. Bed was comfy. Pillows weren’t. It was everything I needed on a trip that I only needed a place to sleep, and use the bathroom."
