"Slight problem with the room on arrival, having booked a family room, but we compromised since it was only for a night, and a sofa was made up to suit. Owners couldn’t have been more apologetic or indeed more helpful during our stay. The hotel is a little unusual in that it is made somewhat castle like, with quirky architecture - which incidentally was the reason we booked for the night. "This hotel is located right next to “restaurant row” which is a street with many dining options and geared mostly toward the tourists. The hotel A/C and Wi-Fi worked well, and I had a comfortable night here. There is a motion sensor hall light that shines into the room through the top windows and some noise as they walk by. It gets quiet after 10:00 so not too much of an inconvenience. Staff helped me with bus arrangements. There is an upstairs lounge area that overlooks the street and...

"It was a basic as it gets and very disappointing! I was scared to death b/c the shower didn't work at all for 2 or 3 minutes until the water started trickling out. It needs major updating in the bathroom. We were laughing b/c so many are so fat they would not even fit in the room or especially th bathroom! No Lie! They also closed at noon. No desk shrive or anything. U cannot even go on a tour b/c if it s a day your leaving later in the day you have no where to leave your luggage! really...
