"Room and hotel was in new condition, very clean in common spaces as well as the room itself. The room was nice and spacious and a true king bed for US travelers. The front desk staff was very friendly and accomodating!"

"The spa is quite far out but has accessable buses from Sendai Station. The onzen was wonderful and clean. Staff was very friendly and spoke english. Only word of caution is unless you eat at the hotel, dinner options are limited and youd have to walk into town. Still a wondeful experience and would definitely stay again if we are in the Miyagi area. "

"This is our second stay at this hotel. It has fantastic onsens, great Japanese buffet, and the rooms are large and comfortable. Kinu-Tateiwa Otsuribashi, a famous suspension bridge, is right behind the hotel that leads to great sceneries. Hotel is approximately 12 min walk to Kinugawaonsen Station, and offers shuttle bus in the morning to the station by request. Next time we visit Nikko, we definitely go to this hotel again! "
