"Great location in one of the most picturesque villages in Scotland. The 18th hole is just outside the back door and the road hole is right there too. Great for a peaceful early morning walk, even if you aren't a golfer. The stroll down the street along water to the ancient cathedral is a beautiful walk as well. Overall the food, location and room were first rate and some of the best accommodations we had in our week in Scotland."

"Overall experience was great. Staff were exceptional and Expedia upgraded us to a beautiful room. The only disappointment was the set meal from the evening menu. It was very greasy and everything had been deep fried. However breakfast was great. I would definitely return but I would dine elsewhere in the evening. I must say again, the staff were lovely, a charming lady called Beth checked us in. "

"The castle is set in a beautiful estate and has many facilities such as sauna, pool and equestrian centre. our room was very clean and comfortable and near to the bistro where we had our evening meal and a delicious breakfast the next morning. the receptionist was very helpful and we even met the owner of the castle who showed us around the main restaurant.
