"Perfect location for some peace and tranquillity ..... yet in 30 mins you're in the centre of Edinburgh.The images in the listing do not do justice to the penthouse. It is spacious, with a lovely big living area, and a fully equipped kitchen. Bedrooms are extremely comfortable, as were the bathrooms. highly recommended."

"We found a little gem Carol was a lovely host and made us feel very welcome. It had everything we needed for our stay, the shower was excellent and the bed super comfy. We were lucky to have the weather to take advantage of the patio area when we weren't out exploring the area and swimming in the local sea pool ( within walking distance). We wouldn't hesitate to go back and stay again. Thank you Carol "

"The Terrace is a perfect little home from home, very well equiped and finished to a high standard. The place was spotless when we arrives, we couldn't fault a thing. It is also in a great location just 5 mins walk to the harbour and parking was never a problem. Can't wait to go back! Caroline was a wonderful host and check that we arrived safely and the we had enjoyed out holiday and gotten home safely afer our stay. "

"Pleasant and very comfortable. Updated and tastefully decorated. Nice bedding. Great location. A bit more compact than I expected, but I'd happily stay there again. Note to VRBO--no one responded when I was having difficulty checking into the property. It should be made clear that there is a separate management company which you have to create a separate app in order to communicate with management (which was closed--no after hours response to our calls). Details were issued earlier, scattered...

"A very well appointed property and the location fit our needs. We took in the Chip shop down the road and didn’t think it was as great as people had raved. But The Ship had great food and portions, as well very reasonable prices. The location of the Co-op for groceries was convenient. Pamphlets were also found to be helpful. Recommendation is to include instructions on operation of the oven, we got it to work but it would beep at us quite often. Thanks again."
