"We had a wonderful time in this beautiful and peaceful property. The spacious rooms have a fantastic view and we loved the restaurant offering yummy and fresh food - loved the freshly cut fruit at the breakfast 💚 I would say the biggest highlight are the experiences offered by the hotel with their experienced and amazing naturalist guide Sudheerah who brought us around in a beautiful walk and shared many interesting insights about the the nature and the wildlife here. "A delightful stay and made memorable by the efforts of Ashen our host. He went above and beyond the call of duty in order to assist us in achieving the maximum in the minimum amount of time. From organising a cooking class to massages to organising a wonderful comfortable car and driver to get us from Ella to Kandy with a visit to nine bridges on our way. "

Unfortunately other properties were fully booked at time of booking and as we were only staying for the night, we figured this could be a great value for money place. How wrong we were! As our driver dropped us in front of the hotel, I thought he must have made a mistake. The hotel facade does not look anything like the pictures and is covered in what looks to be a construction...

"On check in we were shown to a very dingy room downstairs which didn't have the extra bed for our son we had especially asked for. When we complained they offered him a room in another part of the hotel which we weren't happy with, eventually they moved us to a much nicer upstairs room, but it wasn't quite clean and restocked, but was OK for the one night. Dinner was OK, but quite bland and breakfast was not good."
