"We lives out trip to Havana and especially at Hostal Balcones Muralla. Jorge was great at welcoming us and making us comfortable. He also was great with this restaurants recommendations. He made us feel comfortable and gave us good tips about the city. The staff was always nice with us and wanting to help. Breakfast was a great experience. Nothing fancy but very tasty. The neighborhood was great too. We felt we were part of the real Havana life. It was a bit noisy at night but if you are light sleeper, bring some earplugs. We feel it’s the case in every parts of the city and only the 5 stars conventional hotels would be quieter. We loved our experience and we will recommend it to all our for friends. "

"We had a wonderful stay at the El Candil hotel in Havana. The hotel is spotlessly clean, wonderfully decorated and the staff are super friendly and helpful. Reception and general help by Rosabel & Guiomar is priceless, backed up by Nestor at night, all brilliant guys. The rest of the staff are also lovely, helpful and attentive too. Roof top bar is serves great food and drinks, bar and food staff again - super. All in all we would thoroughly recommend the hotel as your Havana base. David & Alison from London "

"I have a great time at Lola hotel, the bedroom was spacious with very comfortable beds and hot shower. They served us continental breakfast with eggs, bread, pancakes, coffee and juice. We really enjoyed the hotel atmosphere with plenty of trees and the location is perfect, very near to a travel agency, taxis and restaurants. I highly recommend it! "
