"We had a great 3 nights in Santa Elena. The home was perfect for us, three teenage boys, my husband and I. Katia had great communication, made excellent recommendations for some fun adventures while we were there. Consuelo cooked us a delicious Christmas dinner. We couldn’t have asked for a better meal, eating on the veranda with a beautiful view overlooking the hills. So pretty! The home is a great location for adventures around San Ignacio and an excellent place to retreat to after a busy day....

"Property is well maintained. Very safe area to live but has limited options for vegetarian meals. Staff is very kind and treats every guest as their family member. Please do not use bar service for only kid’s juice as they charge the service fee of belezian $12 per order (just came to know after check-out). Provide daily turn over service "

"The people here are so kind and friendly. We felt safe and well taken care of. The food was good, but needs a little improvement. The accommodations were great. We stayed 4 nights and on the last day, we had a few bug problems which were quickly resolved. After all it is the jungle. The ability to kayak on the river and the view of the river was great. Hiking around the place was fun as well. I would recommend this place for sure. "

Furthermore, this facility is advertised as a resort, but hardly meets the standard of a bed and breakfast. The swimming pool was empty, Wi-Fi service was only partially available (perhaps about 50% of the time), and failure to respect the do not disturb sign outside the door. The structural state of the facility is an incomplete off the beaten path concept of a resort...
