"This was a very nice hotel, we stayed here for our first night in Iceland. The reception was very helpful and nice, making check in easy. The rooms were very clean, spacious, and comfortable. The only issue we had was the shower water temperature being wayyy too hot as the gauge seemed broken beforehand. We waited to see if the water would cool down after some time and it did not. The faucet ran very hot after that as well. "

"We ended our 2 week road trying on Ring Road here. We wanted a warm place to come back to after going to the Blue Lagoon. My boyfriend took a shower and neither drain worked. The bathroom completely flooded and went into the carpet of the main room. We ended up cleaning it ourselves and asked to move to a different room but all were booked. "Overall, we had an excellent stay here. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. There are decent options for breakfast, but after the 3rd day, it can get a bit monotonous (a couple of different food themes for breakfast would be nice). Has a great view--if you get a room facing the front of the hotel. The gym is FANTASTIC, and the hotel's location is within walking distance to a pharmacy, supermarket, restaurants, and downtown Reykjavik."

"The hotel staff are very friendly and attend to guests needs quickly. The food is excellent and the chef produced excellent evening meals. Rooms are big and the bathroom had both bath and shower so you could soak out the cold after a day out. Hotel is just outside city centre but public transport is easy to use."

"Our staying was amazing, all staff are great, very nice people, great service, very good breakfast with great coffee! The hotel is only 10 min to Reykjavik downtown. We would come back to this hotel for sure!"
