"This was the perfect visit. We had a phenomenal time staying at Cornelia's lovely home in Einsiedeln. She greeted us with a warm welcome, helpful suggestions, and freshly baked bread, jams, and cheese for breakfast our first morning! The home is beautiful, clean, and well-appointed with a stunningly beautiful view. Pictures don't do it justice! We were traveling with my 8-month-old daughter, and Cornelia was kind enough to prepare a sleeping space for her. The loft had plenty of toys available...

Check In was extremely slow - it took me a full 30 minutes from arriving at Reception to getting my room key. - there were only 2 people in front of me and there were no problems. "This was a peaceful and quiet retreat in Einsiedeln. 20.minute walk to the abbey or train station, about 8 minutes to the nearest bus stop. Theres plenty of nature around the property, and my room had a twin bed, a sink, a chair and table and a closet. I also had a big window for fesh air. I think this is a great option for travelers and hikers. Breakfast is served every morning and i was able to sit in the small library and visit the onsite chapel.
