"HIGHLY recommend Ramon’s! We stayed in a few locations while in Belize and Ramon’s was by far the best location. The staff were extremely helpful and kind. My suitcase got lost on the flight over to the island. They handled everything and had my bag in my room within an hour. We will be visiting again! "

"Check in was smooth and the front desk staff was very helpful. The property is 5 -7 min walk to the water taxi terminal. We had arranged a pick up from the airport via the hotel that was a huge benefit. A few restaurants close by which was a plus and we felt safe walking at night. Our room was on 3rd floor and perfect for our stay. A bottle of water and coffee was provided. Will stay here again if we need to spend a night or two in Belize city."

"We have been staying at Grand Colony for years. The reason we keep returning is the convenience of walking down the beach to the dive shop, having a full size kitchen and individual bedrooms for everyone. There are no amenities to speak of. No restaurant, no bar, no spa, the beach chairs have seen better days but so has the beach. The sea grass is nothing Grand Colony can help but it does make the ocean unswimable. Went two days before, was told by owners wife there was no record of my booking, no record of my payment or my name, the rooms were already re-rented, and to discuss it with her husband, who was out of country and unavailable."
