But I must say the staff was not very friendly except for the amazing staff at cava…… This was my second time visiting Qatar and there is a huge difference between the staff/ service at the Mondrian and the Fairmont…. And I must say although the Fairmont was beautiful I will not be back. Having great/ friendly staff is everything and this hotel lacked that! "

"I stayed for 3 nights at the hotel next to the metro station exit. Lovely old fashioned building. Friendly staff and very clean. Had dinner in their restaurant one night and was lovely sitting outside watchinf the souq go by. The gymn had some tired looking equipment but not a big problem. The pool is unheated and is a little chilly but very refreshing and I had it to myself. Very handy for the souq and to get on the metro. And there's a taxi rank at the opposite end of the souq."
