"Hotel was good, reasonable price. Room (no 27) backed onto kitchen and was a bit noisy early morning and late evening. Restaurant on site did lovely evening meal but was chaotic at breakfast. First morning, they were understaffed and the buffet almost ran out, second morning buffet wasnt available until 8am (despite opening at 6.45am), had to order al la carte which was much more expensive and not great quality. "

"Rutherford Hotel was better than our expectations. Beautiful foyer, great staff and great staff. Our room was on the 8th floor with a lovely view. Would highly recommend. "

"The Tides Hotel was in a great location. So close to walking to town. Our room was comfortable and clean. We did have a river view but unfortunately with the tide being out, we didn't get to see that. "

"Nice spot right in the port area over looking the water. Restaurant right next door. Basic motel amenities, but clean, friendly and helpful staff. Continental breakfast was a sweet touch. Would stay again."

"Awesome central location, clean, modern, well equipped apartments. Quiet, with a comfortable spacious bed, & bonus of a pool to relax in. Will be my 1st choice when back in Nelson again. Walk to town, restaurants or enjoy many local trails & parks. It just gets better. Polite & cheerful management. Lovely stay."
