Great and pleasant staff welcomed us (bonus:fresh baked cookies) 😀 Creede is only 20 miles away. Gone Rogue is a great local place to eat, if you like house made from scratch food. "

"Very clean, and quiet. We requested a room on the back side away from the not busy road/highway Comfy beds, and window opened so we could enjoy the fresh mountain morning air. Mixed nicely with the delicious aroma of breakfast wafting up from the free hot breakfast below. It was the final stay in a National Parks vacay, and it wins over GCNP lodge, Painted Desert and more. Helpful staff and nearby Ramon’s had yummy food until pretty late. "

"Lodge has been nicely updated and while the rooms are small, it is more than adequate. Bathroom has been retrofitted; shower could be small for larger clients. We had no problem and the owners are very helpful!"
