"This place was perfect!! It is very close to the train station and very close to the grocery store! The staff was so amazing and very helpful!! The food at the restaurant in the hotel was so good! The rooms were very clean and everything it felt very safe because you have to scan your room key to get to your specific floor and then scan your room key again to get into the hallway of your hotel room!! 10/10 and will most definitely be staying with Volkshotel on my next trip to Amsterdam and would also recommend it to everyone going to Amsterdam! "There is an abandoned car park next to the hotel, but the surrounding area is clean and safe. College housing is also around. Incredibly safe. About a 10-12 minute walk from tram stop. Overall, experience was wonderful. "

Only negative is that they switched all service at the restaurant to on your phone, which can be difficult for people that aren’t very technologically savvy. "
