"It’s a very welcoming hotel ideal location to surrounding areas - food and drinks are high standard. Just note if you don’t want scrambled eggs in the morning then tell staff when they seat you ( option poached or fried ) then they can get them cooking while you collect your breakfast otherwise you’ll be waiting and your breakfast from buffet selection ( full English ) will be cold. "

"The hotel was lovely, the staff were lovely too the only downside was the hotel is on a busy 3 way junction which was noisy, especially with motorbikes revving their engines while waiting for the lights to change!! This was a pain at night, but take earplugs and its fine or if you are deaf like my husband, just take out your hearing aids out! Otherwise it was a lovely hotel, convenient to town and the Barbacan. Enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again"

"It’s the car parking that closes at 11pm - you have to pay for the car parking. There isn’t any sign anywhere to direct you to where you have to park. That is the only reason I won’t be going back - everything else was amazing. "

"Lovely clean and comfortable hotel. Rooms are spacious with big bathrooms. Comfortable beds and loved the dressing gown, nice touch. Good location for Home Park and central plymouth 15 mins drive. "

"Had a one night stay at the Imperial, staff were excellent and struck the right balance of attentiveness. Room had a fantastic view, was spacey and comfortable. Breakfast was really good, my wife has a dairy intolerance and they catered for this, at not time did they make it feel like it was an inconvenience. It was a lovely one night stay, relaxing and would happily return."
