Located right on the Chicago River and Michigan Ave, it’s convenient to nearly everything! They are a top tier hotel with amazing amenities. The rooftop bar has the best views of Chicago. The spa is delightful. The food is amazing. Everything about this hotel is PERFECT. "

"I would definitely stay here again. The queen roomis so spacious. There is a mini refrigerator, a safe, two bottles of complimentary bottles of water-nice. There is plenty of drawers to put your clothes in- thoughtful. The congress plaza hotel also included a coffee pot with coffee and tea-conveient. There is one problem-the paint smell in the room. This was a little uncomfortable for me. Other than that, I say it was a really good hotel for your buck. Oh, I forgot to mention the free continental breakfast that is served in the restaurant downstairs. So, thoughtfull. I would definitely recommend The Congress Plaza hotel to anyone. "

"The parking deck is around the corner from the hotel with in and out access. A lot of walkable restaurant and attraction near by. The hotel is charming. The roof top bar was very busy and play very loud music that you can hear from the floor below. "

"OMG I would recommend this Hotel to everyone. My bestie and I stayed here for our birthday trip (Sep.2024) and the service was amazing. The food was superb, customer service attentive and nice. Also the rooms were so clean. Everyone loved us and our vibrant attires each day. Downtown activities were close by so that’s a plus. Book the room!!"

"Enjoyed our stay. The hotel is a no frills hotel but the location is hard to beat right on the river. Our room had a fantastic view and was clean. We stayed two nights and both days housekeeping came around and refreshed towels and cleaned up. Overall we would come back to the River Hotel."
