"The Bee Hotel is a unique building that used to house the local newspaper. The rooms were very spacious (we stayed in a 2-bedroom suite), beautifully decorated, and had everything we could need. The lobby, the rooftop, and the park in the center of the hotel were clean, quiet, and relaxing. But what made the Bee Hotel the absolute best hotel stay my family has had was the staff! "Although the hotel is older and could use an upgrade, it was clean, and the staff were friendly. The hotel has a restaurant attached for convenience, and the hotel offers free breakfast in the lobby. The place worked for a quick overnight trip to the Danville Casino."

"It is an old house, as stated in the ad. Some rooms had bad smell, especially the BR in the basement. Lots of room for everything. We had minor plumbing and electrical issues. Some of the bedrooms were inter connected, had privacy issues. Disappointed with the pool, as it was not clean despite the efforts from two people who came to clean it. Overall it was good!"

"House is lovely with the right mix of period and modern furniture. Very well stocked with plenty of everything. Comfortable beds. Needs a bigger trash can in kitchen and another large can for the garbage. We would come again."
