"We have a thing for staying in tiny motels off the beaten path, so the Oakes Oramel Inn was perfect for us when we visited the area! The accommodations were quite pleasant with some fresh updates. Our room was well-appointed and included a microwave, mini fridge, table and chairs, large dresser with mirror, queen bed, and nightstand. A basket of complimentary snacks and bottled water awaited us on our table upon arrival. Towels were refreshed daily, and the shower was hot (with great water...

"We enjoyed our stay in many ways. The quiet setting with nature was relaxing. The camp site downstream allowed us to hike back to their falls. That was more accommodating for a couple in their 70's than adventuring down the spiral steps at the cabin. Improvements - replace the sofa with recliners that work. The left recliner is broken and was wired fast to keep it from reclining. My wife has some allergies and was bothered with itchy eyes. Not sure why."
