"This property was a find for us, who travel with our dogs. The cabin was comfortable, clean, quiet and convenient to Hawley where we were meeting with relatives. The only concern we had was with communication. We had some specific questions which could not be answered by Expedia but were answered when the "owner" replied to our weekend queries. Upon arriving, there was no one to check us in, and only by chance were we able to flag someone down to charge our card, and more importantly, give us a key! Our dogs enjoyed the Dog Park and walks around the property, and we enjoyed the serenity. Sadly, our schedule did not permit a visit to the pub which looked inviting. I would happily recommend this property."

"This cabin was the perfect place for a quick weekend getaway! The owners were very welcoming with their quick responses and accommodations for our dogs. We really enjoyed being able to let the dogs have space to run as well as follow us around the full circle walking path on the property and even jump into the river in the two open areas. The cabin was always super warm and cozy to settle down in after being outside. We 100% would love to return next year! "

"Silver Birches is a small, historic lake resort on Lake Wallenpaupack, not far from Hawley, PA. The location and view were terrific. Our room was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed the gas fireplace and chairs in our suite and the view from our balcony. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only negative was that the furniture and walls had a few bumps and bruises. "
