"We love this hotel, the decor is brilliant and very fitting for the Lake District. Pool and gym are great. But you have to pay £15 if you don’t book direct. EV charging. Lovely bar and restaurant "

"Really good location for exploring Keswick and the area. Close to town centre, rooms clean and fairly spacious. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food really good quality and with some vegetarian options. Drinks from the bar not too expensive. The only downside is some of the hotel looks somewhat "tired" and could do with upgrading. All in all, a really nice place to have a break."

"A lovely hotel just what I wanted to relax a little, staff were friendly, food was great maybe a little expensive but what I had I enjoyed. Breakfast was buffet style. Lovely location for a walk around the lake of grasmere and rydal water and also the rydal caves. Close to dove cottage and church Wordsworth connection. Would recommend to stay and hopefully I’ll be back myself 😃"

"Friendly, attentive staff. Tasty breakfast. Comfortable room, with complementary gin. Enjoyed spending time in the spa. Used our Expedia reward in the bar, relaxing in front of the fire. A great birthday getaway. Just a shame that they feel the need to charge for parking. Would certainly recommend Rothay Garden and hope to return in the future."
