"Perfect location, you can walk to groceries and many restaurants. 5 mins from the airport was a bonus. Absolutely beautiful blue clear water on every view. We stayed in the marina view and we ended up in the best location to enjoy the full resort. Very clean and the one bedroom had everything we needed. Highly recommend for couples or families. "

"Central Location, Many Restaurants in Walking distance, Rooms - large Excellent. Restaurant in hotel very good & not expensive. Beach on property is so so for SXM. Better beaches are less than 3miles. Outdoor club next door has a nightly reggae or soca band! "

"The hotel was wonderful! The pool area and restaurant had a great vibe and the food was great! The beach is literally a 5 minute walk and Orient Bay Beach was perfection. Waves, but not too rough. Beautiful turquoise water. The beach service was great as well! La Plantation has an arrangement with a beach club, so chairs and umbrellas were included with the hotel stay. The staff were all so friendly. Our room, a master suite with a sea view, was spectacular. Large room, large bathroom. We loved it. Will definitely be back! Renting a car is definitely a plus and I hightly recommend doing so. It's a quick 10-15 minute drive to a local supermarket, and to Grand Case which has great restaurants and shops. "
