"Beautiful property with lovely pool and nice beach area on the side of the property. The two restaurants on site were very good and the prices were reasonable. It’s very quiet at this hotel so if you are looking for nightlight or shopping nearby then this is not for you. In fact you need a car or taxi to go just about anywhere else from Oyster Bay Beach. "

"My room was very nice BUT I requested a top floor on booking, and got a 1st floor instead. My biggest disappointment!! Putting on the television was very confusing. I was only able to look at tv twice, during my week stay...good job I'm not fussy over tv but it was the only thing to do. The staff were very nice. I will stay at the property again but only if my request for a top floor is honored. "

"During my stay at La Playa Orient Bay in St Martin, I was impressed by the great service and the spacious, beautifully decorated rooms. Though the ocean view is more of a partial view, it's still a delight to wake up to the soothing sound of waves each morning. The rooms were exceptionally clean, and the staff at the reception were incredibly helpful and welcoming. One minor hassle was the beach towels policy, as you can't change them during the day if they get dirty. However, I do appreciate their effort towards minimizing environmental impact. The breakfast could use an upgrade; it’s not bad if you're staying for a few days, but the lack of variety may become monotonous if you're here for an extended period. The beach itself is stunning and the on-site restaurant offers delightful meals. The hotel's surrounding area is amazing too, with plenty of fantastic restaurants within walking distance. Overall, La Playa Orient Bay is a great choice for a relaxing stay in St Martin, despite a few minor inconveniences."

"The property was great, rooms new and spacious. The staff very friendly. The area is busy during the day when the ships are in port but all shops and most restaurants closed down by 5 so there was very little to do in the evenings. The restaurants that were open were very good though. Great hotel for a short stay "
